What is a lease buyout?
A lease buyout allows you to end your lease early, usually by paying a sum of money. The lease documents you signed before moving into your apartment or rental property should outline the fees, notice period, and other conditions that must be met to end your lease early.
Through The Jordan Prais Group at 54 Realty, we have a program available to buy out your lease so you do not have to pay these fees out of your pocket.
How does the lease buyout program work?
The program works as a rebate on the buyer's agent commission paid by Highland Homes.
1. Find the new home of your dreams and get pre-qualified.
2. We will review your lease end date and buyout terms, and the timeline to close on your new home, to ensure the program is applicable.
3. We will connect you with Jordan Prais and his team, who will review your buyout details and next steps.
4. You will sign a representation agreement with Jordan and a Realtor Broker Policy with Highland Homes. These documents formalize that Jordan will advise and represent you while purchasing your new home, and Highland Homes will pay Jordan a commission for doing so.
5. When you close on your new Highland home, Jordan will rebate the lease buyout dollar amount from his commission and directly pay your property manager to satisfy your lease buyout fees.
Please note, this program cannot be utilized if you already have an exclusive representation agreement with another licensed real estate agent.
