We are excited to announce recent recognition on two of the most prestigious lists for U.S. homebuilders! Earlier this week, BUILDER Magazine released their Builder 100 List and Highland Homes was ranked the No. 81 largest home builder in the nation, climbing 21 positions from last year's rank of 102. And, in Professional Builder’s annual Housing Giants List, we have been recognized as the No. 129 largest builder, jumping up 25 positions from last year’s ranking.

As a local and family-owned company who builds in eight Florida counties, we are proud to be recognized when compared to large home building corporations who build throughout the United States!

The two lists are based upon different criteria, which accounts for the difference in rankings. BUILDER Magazine’s Builder 100 and Next 100 lists rank the top 200 homebuilders in the nation based on their number of new home closings. In 2015, we were honored to help 485 new home owners close on their dream homes to receive the recognition as the 81^st largest home builder in the nation. This was a 28 percent growth over 2014.

Professional Builder’s annual Housing Giants list ranks the country’s builders by their revenue. Coming in at #129 out of the 252 builders ranked, we are pleased to report a 31-percent increase in total housing revenue from 2014 to 2015.

As an additional reflection of Highland Homes’ continued growth and success, in February of this year we were recognized by the University of Florida’s Gator100 list as one of the 100 fastest growing businesses in the world which is owned or operated by UF alumni.
