New Model Home in Eagle Lake, Now Open!
Are you looking for a home in Central Florida that offers a small town address and setting reminiscent of Old Florida, yet provides easy access to city amenities and Central Florida attractions? A new home in Eagle Lake, FL offers just what you are looking for and we're here to simplify your home search, with a brand-new model home in the Eagle Hammock neighborhood showcasing the benefits of an Eagle Lake lifestyle!
The term Old Florida refers to places that are off the beaten path, full of natural beauty, and feel from a time before mega resorts. With a population of just around 3,000 people, multiple lakes, and no major interstates through the city (though it’s easy to get to them), Eagle Lake delivers this laid-back lifestyle. Yet, you can still easily take advantage of city conveniences and top theme park destinations with downtown Winter Haven situated just 4 miles away and Walt Disney World Resort just 30 miles from home.
In this ideal location, new construction homes at Eagle Hammock are situated amongst open space, ponds, and wetlands, in peaceful rural surroundings adjacent to farm estates and the waters of Lake McLeod. While the location feels Old Florida, the homes are anything but and provide you will all the modern conveniences you’ve been looking for, along with resort-style community amenities.
Let’s take a peek at the new model home at Eagle Hammock and why you’ll want to build your new home in this incredible community!
Discover the Popular Parker
The top-selling Parker home plan has long been a favorite of homeowners in Central Florida! Boasting 1,715 square feet of living space, the home’s open-concept layout, 4 bedrooms including a large and luxe owner’s suite, and outdoor living space win the hearts of everyone from first-time buyers to families and retirees. Add in the curb appeal of a beautiful Craftsman-style exterior with a front porch, and it’s no surprise this home is loved by – well, everyone!
About the Model Home Design
When decorating the Parker model home at Eagle Hammock, our professional design team chose to combine high-end finishes with farmhouse-style furnishings and a little country flair, to suit the rural, Old Florida setting.
“In this model home, we designed it to feel like a fresh breath of air every time you enter,” said Stacey Antonakas-Perez, Design Center Manager and lead model decorator. “The home has lots of natural light and airy, open space, which we complemented with subtle colors including white, beige, and light greens.”
“And,” adds Stacey, “We selected most of the furniture from Rooms To Go because they offer attainable furnishings that give this home a lived-in feel.”
Modern, Open Living Area
The Parker’s living area is ideal for gathering and entertaining. The gathering room is large enough for everyone to lounge comfortably on the sofa and chairs, or a sectional if that’s your pref, and also fits a large entertainment center, end tables, and a coffee table – aka it’s the perfect amount of space! And, since it’s fully open to the kitchen and dining café, you’ll be part of the fun and conversation no matter which room you are in.
Speaking of the kitchen, many homeowners of the Parker tell us this is their favorite room! Not only does it include modern design and convenience with a large island, walk-in pantry, and ample recessed lighting set in the airy volume ceiling, but when you build your own Parker, you choose the features and finishes to personalize your dream kitchen!
In the new Eagle Hammock model, the designers chose 36-inch tall white shaker-style cabinets – our most popular cabinet option, and an included feature at Eagle Hammock – along with stunning Cambria solid-surface countertops, Samsung stainless steel appliances, and light-colored vinyl plank flooring.
Bedrooms Designed to Relax and Unwind
While the Parker’s open layout is ideal for entertaining, it doesn’t mean you sacrifice having private spaces for relaxing. With four bedrooms including a large and luxurious owner’s suite, there is plenty of room for everyone in your household to have their own retreat.
The owner’s suite is a winning combination of space, privacy, and luxury elements:
- Large dimensions of 15’-4” x 15’-9”;
- Walk-in closet with linen shelves;
- Luxurious en-suite bath with dual vanities, a spa-like soaking tub, a decorative tiled shower with glass enclosure, and a private toilet.
Three secondary bedrooms share a convenient hall bath, and aren’t short on space or style, either. The design team worked with Core Construction to create custom-made furniture for each room. We like to decorate with furniture that is realistic for most people – a double or queen-sized bed, a bureau or dresser, and nightstands – so you can picture how your furniture might fit the space.
In this model, you’ll see secondary bedrooms designed as:
- A room for a cowgirl with a custom-made bed featuring a distressed “picket fence” headboard;
- A bedroom ideal for a lover of country music with rustic wood furniture, cow-print accents, and guitar wall art;
- A home office, illustrating the flexibility to use bedrooms in your home however suits your needs, whether that’s an office, game room, guest room, fitness room, or something else entirely.
Outdoor Living Space
The setting of Eagle Hammock invites you to get outside – and with both a porch on the front of the home and a lanai on the rear, you have covered spaces to sit, sip your favorite beverage, and enjoy the peaceful quiet of this rural setting. And when you are entertaining, the fun can easily transition from indoors to out, with the lanai accessed off your dining café.
We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the Parker also includes a two-car garage, to house your vehicles and/or outdoor recreation toys.
