Wave Hello to Sunny, the New Highland Homes Pooch

A new year means plenty of exciting new things from the Highland Homes team, and this is the best one yet. I’m so excited that I can’t hold in my woofs any longer! 

I’m a West Highland Terrier named Sunny, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the official Highland Homes pet mascot. Can I get a round of a-paws? A Floridian by nature, my parents named me for my bright personality and love for the year-round sunshine. 

My best pals on the Highland Homes team wanted a paw-sitively fresh perspective on all the fabulous pet-friendly features in every Highland home and community. Let me tell you everything I am mutts about!

My days in my spacious Highland home always start with seeing what’s going on in the neighborhood by staring out the large windows. I love to see what my furry friends and their owners are up to. Sometimes my parents leash me up and take me on a long walk on the community’s sidewalks! And when I'm hanging out at home, I can't get enough of running around in my big backyard and rolling in the grass! Think of it - A whole yard! All to myself! 

One thing my friends at Highland Homes always excel at is making sure I am surrounded by nature. No matter what Highland Homes neighborhood I call home, I know I’ll be able to sniff out and explore all the picturesque sights! Inside my home, I love being able to follow my favorite human around the house quickly, thanks to flexible home plans. If I ever get into a mess, my parents don’t stress, thanks to easy-to-clean vinyl plank flooring!

I think I hear my humans calling me for dinner! There’s so much more I love about my fur-tastic life at Highland Homes. Next time I’m at the dog park, I’ll save you a spot in my favorite sunny patch. Bring your favorite furry friend to the dog park, and we can throw a paw-ty!
