Highland Homes Ranked as One of the Largest Private Companies in the Tampa Area

In December, Highland Homes was recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as one of the largest companies in Tampa Bay. On the TBBJ200 List, the Business Journal ranked Tampa-based companies by their 2014 revenue and Highland Homes is thrilled to have been ranked as the No. 84 largest private company in Tampa Bay.

In 2014, Highland Homes saw an increase in revenue to $63.98 million to secure the No. 84 position on the list, and was one of only six Tampa home builders to be named.

This recognition concludes a successful year for Highland Homes, who had the honor of receiving a number of awards and recognitions in 2015. In February, Highland Homes was ranked No. 73 on the first-ever Gator100 List, which recognizes the 100 fastest growing companies worldwide owned or operated by University of Florida alumni. Just a few months later, Highland Homes was ranked on two of the nation’s top homebuilder lists, BUILDER Magazine’s “Builder 100/Next 100쳌 and Professional Builder’s “Housing Giants.쳌 The lists recognize the top 200 home building companies in the nation based on their number of new home closings and rank the country’s builders by their revenue, respectively. Highland Homes was then recognized at The Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Fast 50 Awards, where it received the honors of being the No. 10 fastest growing company in Tampa Bay based on dollar revenue growth and the No. 21 fastest growing company in Tampa Bay based on percentage of revenue growth. The Tampa Bay Business Journal also named Highland Homes the No. 6 largest homebuilder in Tampa and No. 84 on its list of fastest-growing companies in the state of Florida.
